The things drivers ask us before they send a photo, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.
How much will it cost?
We price every job from what we can see. Send a couple of photos of the damage with the make, model and colour and we will come back with a figure. If we need to see it in person we will say so. There is no charge for a price.
Should I go through my insurance?
That is your call, and we will give you the number you need to make it. For a lot of smaller jobs the repair costs less than the excess and the lost no-claims, and people choose to pay directly. For bigger accident damage a claim can make sense. We will tell you straight which one this looks like.
Can you match the colour exactly?
Paint is mixed to the code on your car and then blended into the panels either side, so the join is not visible. Metallic and pearl finishes take more care and we allow for it.
Will you fill over rust?
No. Where rust has gone through the metal we cut it out and let in new steel, then treat, seal and paint. Filling over it looks fine for a few months and then comes back.
Do you do vans?
Yes. Panel vans, pickups and small fleet vehicles. Tell us when you need it back and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.
Where are you?
Unit 21, Charity Farm Estate, Chattisham, Ipswich IP8 3QG. We are on the A1071 between Ipswich and Hadleigh, about fifteen minutes from the town centre.
When are you open?
From 8am on weekdays. Ring 07539 011345 before you set off so we know to expect you.
Do I need to book?
For a look and a price you can just come by, but a call first means someone is free to see you. For the work itself we agree a day when you drop it off.
