Dents and panels
Got a dent?
Car park dents, creased doors, trolley dings. Small ones come out without paint; bigger ones are filled, shaped and painted so the panel reads as one surface again.

- We look at where the dent is and whether the paint has cracked, which decides everything that follows.
- A shallow dent with the paint intact is pushed out from behind, with no paint needed.
- A creased or cracked one is knocked back into shape, the low spots are levelled, and the panel is painted.
- Either way the panel is checked in raking light before it leaves, because that is where a bad dent job shows.
Sometimes the dent is worse than it looks and sometimes it is better, and the photo tells us which.

A shallow dent with the paint intact is pushed out from behind, and the panel keeps its original paint.
- Two or three photos of the damage, taken in daylight if you can.
- The make, model and colour, or the paint code if you know it.
- Your postcode.
What will it cost?
Most dents cost less to fix than the excess, so most people pay for them without going through their insurance.
Send a photo in daylight and we will say which yours is.
